I'm stoked to now be co-leading Growing Food Security (GFS) for the forseeable future! GFS is a grad-student led, volunteer operated farm project that supplies over 10,000 lbs of fresh, organic produce to the Colorado State University (CSU) Rams Against Hunger food pantry, where it is available free of charge to the CSU community. For me, GFS is an opportunity to build community, give back to my fellow Rams, and fight food insecurity in academia. Student food security is something I'm passionate about, so I also serve on CSU's Food Security Advisory Council. Though not my research specialty, I would love to collaborate and get involved in more food security-related projects.
